The Rangers return to the playoffs from their trip to last year's finals appearance and lo, and behold, they have the best record in the league. The defending champs, are playing golf. Now, they claim that they were tired because they didn't have a proper off-season. Um, the Rangers season ended the same day as theirs- Hello!
Looking back at the season, tell me is Cam Talbot awesome or what? I am very happy to see that Henrik is back between the pipes, but wow who else has a back-up like we do? Now, it is not always about talent but matchups. That being said, when you end the season with the best record, you earn every point.
Of course, should the Broadway Blueshirts prevail over the next two months, I will only shave 12 years off the title of this blog (do the math).
And to the Devils fans and the Islanders fans, all I have to say is 1940!
